Fan Favorite Male TV Hair

Fan Favorites!

It’s been a crazy day here at the Get Good Head Headquarters. Yesterday (April 15th), we released our article, “25 Local News Men With Great Hair” and in a short amount of time, it went viral. In fact, #10 on our list, WGN’s Pat Tomasulo, was so honored to receive this prestigious award, he did what any self-respecting anchor would do – discuss it on live TV!

Because making it on our list can effectively make your career, there has been a lot of backlash about why some men were left off our list. Well, we’re sticking to our top 25, but we decided to put together the list of “Fan Favorites.” That’s right! Below is a list of local news men who either proclaimed themselves as having amazing hair, or were voted on by you, the fans!

First, it’s clear Gary Vosot wants to be on our list. Look at his tweet:

Gary, we regret to inform you that you technically don’t qualify because you’re a comedian – not an anchor. If we were including comedians – Stephen Colbert would have been #1! However, Gary, we do believe you found a couple of coifs worthy of acknowledgement! Plus, you are very funny.

chris-wragge1. Chris Wragge

WCBS, New York

Chris, your friends on Twitter are right – you have some wonderful blonde hair! No wonder you’ve appeared nationally on CBS so many times. We’re guessing you wake up around midnight to start working on that ‘do so that it’s perfect by 4:30am, right? Well, we connoisseurs of fine hair appreciate your sleep deprivation.

2. Steve Lacy

WNYW, New York

We noticed that Steve tweeted his agreement that he should’ve been included in our Top 25. You know what, Steve? You DO have some perfect hair. Does Fox have a stylist who slaves over a hair dryer every afternoon to chisel this look for you? Did the same stylist also chisel your jawline out of solid granite? We thought so. jr-berry3. J.R. Berry

WLTX, Columbia

JR might be the oldest member of this list. We mean no disrespect by bringing up his age – quite the opposite! In fact, how many older gentlemen with perfectly grayed hair have this much hair? Nice work, JR! What’s your secret? Please tell us. We also love that you’ve chosen not to run from your gray. You embrace it – and so does the camera!

South Carolina viewers are clearly fans of your silver smile, too. Chaunte’ Turner posted on Facebook:

gus-rosendale4. Gus Rosendale

WNBC, New York

Gus, you owe a special ‘thank you’ to Cheryl Mullen. Her tweet made us realize that your golden locks deserve recognition. We read that you once struggled with your hair color while in Minneapolis. Is that true? Well, the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” is now missing out on 10,000 perfect strands of hair. Minnesota’s loss is clearly New York’s gain! Even your eyebrows are the gold standard. Kudos, Mr. Rosendale.

5. Paul Michael Mueller

Bay News 9, Tampa

paul-muellerPaul, wipe those tears! There’s no need to wait for next year. You can be on this year’s list of “fan favorites.” We believe anyone on TV in Florida deserves some credit for overcoming intense humidity, sea breezes, and (occasionally) hurricane-force winds to have good hair. Your investment shall not go unnoticed. Here’s your ‘honorable mention’ Paul. Now tell those morning producers at Bay News 9 to give you your own segment on-air like Pat Tomasulo at WGN.

6. Ben Hill

WHNS, Greenville

ben-hillBen, who is Lauren? Is she your wife? Just a secret admirer? Either way – she’s a huge fan! She wrote a comment right on the Get Good Head website telling us how we missed out on your “great head of hair.” So Ben, now that you’ve made the list of “fan favorites” share your secrets with us – what products do you use in your hair? How much did you pay Lauren to submit your name? Kidding! But we really do want to know what products you use to get that telegenic look.

7. Whit Johnson

KNBC, Los Angeles

whit-johnsonThe team here at Get Good Head has to admit when we make a mistake. Here it is: Whit, we’re sorry we left you off our Top 25. Your hair is flawless! Whether you’re behind the anchor desk in Los Angeles or reporting from the Olympics in Sochi – your hair remains a constant. We can count on its daily perfection as reliably as the eruption of the “Old Faithful” geyser at Yellowstone National Park every 91 minutes. That is precision – your hair, we mean. Who cares about a geyser?

Whit, please accept our apologies. Also, please let us be the first to know when NBC decides to promote you to the Today Show. LA shouldn’t be selfish. This set of hair deserves to be seen from coast-to-coast.

You missed Jeff Skrzypek from WPTV! He’s got amazing hair!

I remember Lou Green in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. I always admired his perfect hair. I’d never seen a guy’s hair so perfectly groomed with industrial strength Consort hairspray. Was nice!

Check out TV Reporter Kenny Lopez’s cute curls. He works for WGNO news with a twist in New Orleans. I want to play with those curls.

Ex editor from More magazine Abby Perlman recently got involved in dangerous coraption business with crazy CBS anchor Otis Livingston to steal money from Meredith corporation employees bank accounts. Never trust Abby Perlman and Otis Livingston they need to be arrested!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
