Cibaderm Hemp Shampoo & Conditioner
We enjoyed speaking with a representative of Cibaderm Hemp Shampoo Hemp CBD Complex at the 2014 International Spa and Salon Expo in Long Beach, California.
And boy, we learned a lot.
We live in the hair care world. We review shampoos that will give you thicker and fuller hair, conditioners that hydrate like none other, and the best blow dryer in the entire world.
But we had never heard of shampoo with cannabis in it. Well, Cannabidiol, to be specific. Here’s what we learned.
Perfect for Women and Men
First, Cibaderm products are appropriate for women or men, although women make a slightly larger percentage of users.
Cibaderm is a higher-end shampoo but worth it if you can afford it.
The defining ingredient of Cibaderm Shampoo is Cannabidiol or CBD. CBD is found in cannabis, but unlike its counterpart THC, there are no psychoactive properties. According to Cibaderm, CBD is hugely popular for its list of health benefits.
After some quick research, we validated this claim. The California Pacific Medical Center claimed that CBD could help control the spread of metastatic breast cancer. A separate case study indicated that CBD could also help manage Parkinson’s disease.
If CBD is this great for you, then Cibaderm is one of the “healthiest” shampoos we’ve seen. The CBD levels in a bottle of Cibaderm Shampoo are higher than any other shampoo on the market. Additionally, Cibaderm representatives explained that much of this CBD could be absorbed through your skin.
You are probably thinking, “okay, it sounds great for my overall health, but is it great for my hair?” From our research and use of the product, the answer is – yes!
Moisturizing with Cibaderm Shampoo
Cibaderm has a 3:1 ratio of omega 3 to omega 6. This is an ideal ratio for moisturizing. This helps seal the ends of your hair, maximizing moisture retention. If your hair needs additional care, Cibaderm has an entire line of products. This is recommended for those who have dryer hair.

Clarifying
Cibaderm Shampoo also has a clarifying component. Although the representative for Cibaderm says folks can use it each day, she did warn that overuse for someone with dry hair could cause damage.
Because of this, we suggest using their conditioner or experimenting with skipping a day or two. During my use of Cibaderm, I did not notice any drying, irritation, or damage.
Personal Review
Cibaderm Products
This shampoo smells phenomenal! It has a very fresh, clean scent that isn’t overpowering. Additionally, the scent is appropriate for women or men.
I used the shampoo and conditioner and found that my hair never looked better. I definitely noticed the clarifying component in the shampoo. My hair felt much lighter and clean after the wash. I did notice a very faint tingling sensation that I enjoyed, but I am sure some would find it alarming.
My complaint with the conditioner is that I felt like I had to use large amounts to cover all my hair. I let the conditioner sit in my hair for a minute or two. It felt very nice and moisturizing. I even used some of the conditioners as a body wash after learning about the positive effects of CBD.
This has been the only conditioner I’ve used that doesn’t flatten my hair out. The Cibaderm conditioner actually added a lot of volume to my hair. My hair naturally styled itself after use. Seriously, after a towel dry, I did nothing. An hour or so later, I looked in the mirror, and my hair looked perfect!
Perhaps I was having a good hair day, but I feel like it was the product!
If money weren’t an issue, we would be loading up on this stuff! The quality is there, though. If you are looking for a high-quality shampoo and conditioner, this is it.
